Underneath the stars

Im so in the mood for a poem 2day...

How can I forget that day?
The memory will never go away.

The sun was burning so hot
And my heart caught

On fire for him instantly
I couldn’t do anything but smile, without difficulty.

As the summers went by
I tried to catch his eye

And my feelings grew
But he never knew.


He was my sun,
I could not bear to be with anyone

Else besides him, and I never
Thought I would get to be with him, ever.

But the best day of my life came
And my heart burst into flame

I started spending time with him
And my world seemed so much less dim

So bright, and filled with love
And he is someone I can never let go of.

I never know how to put my feelings into words
He deserves a million awards:

For his personality, his looks
His love, and the way he cooks.

I love him so much, I miss his comforting touch
His smile, and the way he shows me how to use the clutch.

He is the perfect man
And loving him forever is my plan.
